For Diana, education played a key role as she grew up. After graduating from Shawnigan Lake School, Queen’s University became her home away from home where she enjoyed playing on the varsity squash team and volunteering at a local prison. Diana’s career in education began upon graduation from university, when she represented Queen’s as their international admissions coordinator. The full cycle of recruitment, admissions, and retention allowed her to speak about the admissions process to prospective families. Traveling across China and India, she quickly realized how rewarding it was to advise students on uniquely Canadian opportunities. She later served as Director of Admissions at Fulford Preparatory College, a start-up boarding school in Ontario. Diana’s professional journey in education would lead her back to her alma mater where she took up a role in external relations on behalf of Shawnigan Lake School.
She is delighted to return to Vancouver after a ten-year hiatus where she can continue her passion working in education. Diana’s main areas of focus at KEY will be to forge strategic partnerships with leading independent schools and to assist families in finding their ‘best fit’ pathways to these schools.
