Early Childhood Education. Private School Admissions.

While fostering social and emotional learning, we teach children essential skills and concepts for long-term success in highly selective schools. Current research shows that children achieve the best results academically, emotionally, socially, physically, and artistically when they develop a balance of these intelligences. KEY teachers know that self-regulated learning is also critical to success in today’s education system and they strive to help young children regulate their learning.

Tutoring. Academic Planning. Admissions.

Our unique Academic Planning process gives your child the advantage by assessing where they need to focus and then recommending a pathway to academic success. From there, Subject Tutoring allows for your child to select particular subjects they find difficult or would like to get ahead in with private, semi-private and group classes for all subjects at any age level. Finally, work with our Admissions team for that edge when applying for private and boarding schools. At KEY, our staff will customize a plan that meets the needs of your child and your family.

Yesterday, in the middle of a meeting, I got the text from my daughter’s high school. Mid-term grades are out, and her math teacher wanted to talk. Eyebrows raised, I logged into my e-mail and there was the topic of our discussion staring back at me: a 54.9 percent mid-term grade in math.

Private School Application Checklist: Early October Edition

The full moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival is on the wane, but our private school application season is only beginning to wax. It’s now time to turn your eyes away from the autumn sky (and yes, from those scrumptious moon cakes, too) and look squarely at where you are in the application process.

KEY's SAT Academic Level Test Preparation course helps me identify personal weaknesses and teaches me how to effectively improve weaknesses. My teachers are responsible, intimate and professional, and in line with the different learning needs of each of us. The content of the lectures is rich and profound, which not only makes people satisfied, but also helps me to learn the methods of preparing for the exams, which will make me useless in my future life. KEY, thank you for teaching me how to "crack" the SAT!

As parents, we want to make sure that our children have the right education for their future. However, when it came time to apply for private schools, we realized just how competitive the admissions process was. KEY helped put our minds at ease as they guided us through the behind-the-scenes process of the application process to top private schools. We saw the value in working with a KEY admissions expert who not only went to a top private school but also had work experience as a private school admissions interviewer. We will certainly return to KEY when it comes time to prepare for the university application process.
